Karen Holmes

Hello! My name is Karen Holmes, and I am proud to call Coweta my hometown. I grew up in this wonderful community and graduated from Coweta High School. After high school, I pursued my passion for finance and obtained a BBA in Finance from Northeastern State University in 1995.

For over 30 years, I have had the privilege of working for State Farm, with 20 of those years being right here in Coweta as your agent. It brings me great joy to help the people who have supported me throughout my education and career.

Even outside of work, I am an active member of the community. I am a member of the Coweta Chamber of Commerce, where I strive to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our local businesses. I am also proud to be a Legion of Honor Qualifier and an Ambassador travel qualifier, which demonstrates my commitment to excellence in my profession. I am a huge supporter of CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, as a Board member. We serve neglected and abused children in Wagoner, Muskogee and Sequoyah counties. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chris, on our small cattle ranch. We take great pleasure in working on our ranch and being outdoors. Traveling is also a passion of ours, as we love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.

One of my fondest memories from my younger days is being known as the "ketchup kid" by my Sunday school teacher. She affectionately calls me that even now when she visits my office, reminiscing about the fun times we had at church camp.
